South Carolina Trip: Part 1

For two weeks this summer I went with the girls to visit my family in South Carolina while Joel stayed at home to work. We had a great time and did lots of fun things. Here are some of the highlights.

This little girl loves her Aunt Matalie.
 Kaylee playing with Granddad.
Aunt Matalie was an awesome babysitter. She even wanted to help when I was around too. Madelyn, Lisa, and I got to have a girl's afternoon with Ashton and Ammon babysitting. They did a great job!
We enjoyed lots of good food including curry enchiladas, homemade lasagna, cheeseburger egg rolls, chicken pot pie, and Lisa's delicious dark chocolate shakes!

My dad was able to take several days off while we were in town and took us to some fun places. Here are some pictures from a kid museum called EdVenture in Columbia. I think my favorite part was watching the girls shop at this miniature grocery store complete with toy food, little carts, and a check out.
They have a great back porch/deck with this fun swing, a hammock, little trampoline and papasan chair. The girls were often found being pushed by an Aunt or Uncle.

Uncle Ammon practices playing the piano multiple times a day and was learning to play our wedding song while we were there. He is quite good!

 Snuggle time!
Super cool slip and slide the uncles set up for the princesses =)
 Now that's a southern belle!

Riding through the windy roads surrounded by thick forest.

More to come...
