We had a packed visit to California last month. We went for Mel Switzer's retirement party at the Oakland A's Stadium and for Lia Savage's baptism. While we were in the San Francisco and Sacramento areas, we also made a family vacation out of our visit. We visited Half Moon Bay for a gorgeous day at the beach. Finding out SF was totally packed for a sailboat competition, we opted out and went to Children's Fairyland. The kids absolutely loved it. We were able to spend a good amount of time with their California cousins and make some fun memories.
We drove all night and stopped first at the Henderson's house.
