Christmas 2011

Christmas morning...
Sienna

I love how she checks out all the sets of wheels and stops at the one that's just her size.

Kaylee

It's amazing how much she's changed since last year!

Here's what we saw when we woke up this morning!
Whoohoo! We received the gift of motion this year with our jogging stroller and bikes for the girls.
 The look of childhood glee.
Not surprised her first impulse is to climb her gift. Her helmet should come in handy for more than bike riding =)
Just a sweet shot of Sienna and Daddy
Somebody knew just what Kaylee would love!
These girls both got cute stuffed doggies that they are quite attached to. Kaylee's even responds to a special book about him. They received many other wonderful gifts that are not pictured here
This year our stockings were stuffed with oranges from neighborhood tress =)
This is us in our Christmas clothes a week ago. We also went to church Christmas day. Our choir sang Christmas songs while Joel wrangled the girls, so pictures were our last priority when we got home! They went straight down for naps while we enjoyed a peaceful afternoon making the feast. Everything turned out great and we had lots of leftovers. The spread included: turkey, Burns Family stuffing, homemade gravy, mashed potatoes, Rachelle's sweet potato soufflle' (inspired by her friend Betsey), cranberry sauce, green beans, and pumpkin pie.
After dinner we did some bike riding lessons.
We enjoyed looking at Christmas lights in our neighborhood and then got to skype with Joel's family before the kids went off to bed. To end the day, we watched the last Harry Potter movie (a Christmas gift).

We had a Merry Christmas and hope you all did as well! Here's to a Happy New Year!
