Christmas 2010

  

Mr. Claus was working at his other job on Christmas Eve this year, so Mrs. Claus stepped in to do the job.  Thanks to generous friends and family, we had a very nice spread =)

We made the entire meal ourselves and it turned out great!  It was a quiet Christmas for us, which is nice in some ways, but we definitely missed being with our extended families.

 Joel handled the turkey for the most part and it was so good!  We also made Nancy/Gail's stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and Rachelle's pumpkin pies (Paula Deen's recipe) along with cranberry sauce and green beans.

 

After dinner we went for a walk to the park and then came back and drove around to look at Christmas lights.  It was a nice way to end the day.

We have learned so much this year.  Our faith in Jesus Christ has been strengthened and our love and appreciation for life has as well.  We hope you had a great Christmas!  Here's to 2011!
