It's about time for an update on the girls.
Sienna's vocabulary has exploded over the past few weeks. She has become a little parrot, copying the words that we say. Here's a list of some of the things she says: milk, wa wa, purple, no, yes, mine, hi, doggie, blankie, baby, nice, Kay-ee, nana (banana), Nenna (Sienna), Ma ma, Da da, ball, bat (bath), outside, up, down, I down, I milk, go, car, bye-bye, nigh nigh, monkey, tickle, boo, paci, etc.
Some of the cute things she does...
She scrunches up her face, wiggles her fingers and says "Tickle tickle!" And she does!
She rocks her babies, shushes them, and gives them kisses.
If she does something to hurt her sister, she immediately hugs her and kisses the spot she hurt =)
When she sees our kitties, she runs up to them, waves, and gives the most enthusiastic "hi" and squeals.
She carries on toy cell phone conversations, saying hi, bye, um, and baby talk.
She loves running around, climbing, bouncing, spinning, and swinging (she puts herself in the baby swing).
We love this little angel! She has a mouth full of teeth, sleeps 12-13 hrs. at night, and takes one nap (1 1/2 to 2 hrs.). At 16 months old, that leaves only 2 months till she starts going to nursery at church. Wahoo!
Kaylee is just over 3 years old and continuously amazes us. She is such a social little thing. Everywhere we go, she makes a friend. She continues loving primary. I love taking her visiting teaching with me because she plays so well with everyone's kids. Today we went to visit her buddy, Landon, and she was so excited. She has such a pure and joyful love for people.
She's got a soft spot for her Daddy. Lately she's been wanting him to be off work every day (careful with that wish Miss Kay) and cries at the thought of him leaving. Today we dropped Daddy off at work and she cried as he walked away. They went for some one-on-one time tonight which Kaylee and Joel both cherished.
Kaylee speaks quite clearly and amazes us with the complexity of her speech. She loves helping, from planting flowers, to cooking and cleaning. Kaylee loves her sister and helps me so much with her. There is a fair amount of refereeing (Sienna likes to pull Kaylee's hair and sharing is a constant squealing affair).
Kaylee continues to sing and dance on self-made stages, teach school in her classroom (bedroom), and she loves playing "grocery shopping".
There's a snap shot!
