Easter: Part 2

Easter to me is the most important holiday. Christmas is a close second. I am grateful for the birth of Christ and all the joy and excitement that surrounds it. Easter celebrates Christ's ultimate purpose on this Earth, to atone for our sins and to overcome physical death so we can too. I know He lives and am so grateful for His guidance in my decisions. Above all I am grateful for His love.

This Easter we felt VERY LOVED!!! 

The Easter Bunny came while Mommy was getting the girls ready.

 Kaylee got the traditional chocolate bunny, some jelly beans, and some fun non-edible things too. The Easter Bunny really went crazy for me. I loved it all but my favorites were my new yoga mat and the latest Harry Potter movie. Sienna got a bunny and some puffs.

After the egg hunt, I made waffles, eggs, and sausage for breakfast. We attended a lovely Easter Sacrament meeting with beautiful musical numbers. Kaylee loved nursery as usual and learned about the Resurrection of our Savior.

After church we went to the Lane's for Easter dinner and a crazy Easter Egg hunt.

The Easter Bunny went CRAZY!!! Here they are with the loot. My favorite part was how Kaylee found and gave away each piece of gum because she knows she's not allowed to have it =) Oh and as if the dinner and egg hunt weren't enough, the Lanes also gave Kaylee and Sienna bunnies and gift cards.

And Sienna had fun too! (this was just after eating a mushy banana)

Holidays are so fun when you have kids. Oh, and just when we thought our celebration was over we got an Easter package in the mail from my Step-mom and Dad. It included an adorable monkey blanket and slippers for Kaylee, a giraffe blanket for Sienna, and some hand-made jewelry from Lisa and selected for me by my dad. Kaylee went on and on about how much she loves her blanket =). We felt loved by so many this Easter!
