Six Month Sienna

Sienna is 6 months old!  It's hard to believe how much she has changed in 6 months and how quickly the time has flown by. 

These two are so sweet together.  I hope they continue to be the best of friends.  As you can see, Sienna still has very little hair.

The day Sienna turned 6 months, she tried her first veggies. 


She started making some pretty sour faces the more avocado she ate so we decided to give her some green beans instead.  She LOVED those and has since tried and loved squash, peas, sweet potatoes, and carrots.  She went in for her 6 month appointment today and here are the stats:

Height: 27 1/4 in. (90th)
Head: 17 1/4 in. (55th)
Weight: 16 lbs. (50th)

I was surprised to see that she had only gained 1 ounce since her 4 month visit going from the 95th to the 50th percentile in weight.  She is still tall so I guess she's just getting longer and leaner.  Her pediatrician suggested we add in a 3rd feeding of solids, so maybe we will be introducing fruit soon!  =)  We just love our little Sienna Isabelle.  She is such a sweetheart and we feel so privileged to have her in our family.

Sienna is sitting up!!!  She can sit all by herself for a little while until she slowly topples over.  She currently loves playing with paper and anything that makes noise.  She also is grabbing everything and she said Dada!  It's the main thing she says and it's so cute.  It may be a little longer before she really knows what it means but it's soooooo cute.
